The Client

Deadstock is an online marketplace for the buying, selling, and trading of streetwear. What makes them unique is that they use the blockchain to validate the authenticity of their merchandise.

The Objective

Deadstock wanted to create a video that wouldn't be yet another cookie cutter explainer promo, but rather something hip and stylish that speaks to their core audience: streetwear enthusiasts and entrepreneurs who love to buy and sell clothes online.

Our Approach

We started by researching what resonates with our target audience: the language they use and the types of content they engage with online.

From the very beginning, we knew that the products available on the Deadstock platform would take center stage. We also knew that our audience would connect better with images of real people.

We crafted a theme that combined live photography, photographic assets, photoshop brushes, and motion design to create a video both kinetic and stylish.
